Lightbulb Alice Bailey versus H.P.Blavatsky

Предлагаю сопоставить следующие два фрагмента текста, наглядно иллюстрирующие некоторое, скажем так, несовпадение взглядов на одну историческую личность со стороны Е.П.Блаватской и А.А.Бэйли.

(К сожалению, лучшей ссылки на работы Бэйли в интернете дать не могу, т.к. большой англоязычный сайт, на который обычно ссылаются в таких случаях, убрал все её англоязычные тексты. Вот ещё одна непрямая ссылка. Возможно, Kay Ziatz сможет дать прямую ссылку на соответствующую общедоступную книгу.)

These same humorous scribblers will have additional provocation to merriment when I tell you that it is not only probable, but likely, that this same couple may be seen in this country before the end of the Centennial Exhibition, astounding alike professors, editors, and Spiritualists.
The initiates are as hard to catch as the sun-sparkle which flecks the dancing wave on a summer day. One generation of men may know them under one name in a certain country, and the nest, or a succeeding one, see them as someone else in a remote land.
They live in each place as long as they are needed and then—pass away “like a breath” leaving no trace behind.

[In H.P.B.’s Scrapbook, Vol. I, p. 83, where the above Letter to the Editor of the Spiritual Scientist is pasted as a clipping, the author of it is identified as a pupil of Master M. The town formerly known as Kolozsvár was at that time within the boundaries of Hungary; it is now known as Cluj and is in the Transylvanian District of Rumania; its German equivalent was Klausenburg.
H.P.B. also says that the story, “An Unsolved Mystery” was written from the narrative of the Adept known as Hillarion, who sometimes signed himself Hillarion Smerdis, though the Greek original has only one “l” in it, as a rule. H.P.B. drops the initial mark of an aspirate and uses merely the initial letter “I” as would be the case in Slavonic languages.]
Суть разночтений в следующем.

Бэйли (или Тибетец, если угодно) утверждает, что Блаватская в одном из предыдущих воплощений (видимо, в непосредственно предшествовавшем собственно Блаватской) являлась, вернее, являлся графом Калиостро и в этом качестве навредил Ашраму М.М. и вообще всей Иерархии со страшной силой.

Однако из приведённого фрагмента записной книжки (точнее, альбома с вырезками и комментариями) Е.П.Блаватской cледует, что Калиостро вовсе не умер в тюрьме, а жил настолько долго, что был современником самой Е.П.Блаватской, а следовательно, Калиостро никак не мог быть её предыдущим воплощением. При этом, правда, в готовившемся ЕПБ "Теософском словаре" написано, что Калиостро был послан на помощь Сен-Жермену, но, совершив несколько более-менее фатальных ошибок, был отозван.
