ММТР: Выставка картин Ранджет Дорже
 

После утренней молитвы гость Треста, Pravrajika Gitaprana, старшая монахиня Sri Sarada Math из Калькутты, рассказала студентам о великолепных жизнях и героических делах Шри Рамакришны, Свами Вивекананды и Sarada Ma. Потом в течение дня были открыты две выставки. Сначала выставка фотографий "Дикая природа Гималаев" доктора Ашуони Колом из Кулу, представленная в зале Современного искусства. Потом - выставка картин молодого художника из Лахул, Ranjeet Dogre. Это была его первая выставка. Она была открыта известным живописцем из Лахул, Sh. Sukh Dass, чьи картины были показаны во многих местах Индии, и в 2003 в Тресте Рерихов. Ranjeet Dogre считает Sh. Sukh Dass своим Гуру в живописи, и именно поэтому он попросил его открыть выставку. Sh. Sukh Dass произнес короткую речь, похвалив навыки живописи молодого художника, и призвал его к дальнейшей творческой работе. Работы Ранджита покоряют убедительностью и чистотой, передают чувство атмосферы. Большинство посетителей выставки восхищалось его сценами холмистой местности, его родиной - Лахул - красивые горы, высокие снежные пики, тихие Буддистские монастыри и маленькие деревни.

On Sunday, 17th June the Trust was busy again.
After the morning prayer, the guest of the Trust, Pravrajika Gitaprana, senior nun from Sri Sarada Math from Kolkata gave a short speech, narrating to the students about the glorious lives and heroic deeds of Shri Ramakrishna, Swami Vivekananda and Sarada Ma. Later on, two exhibitions were inaugurated during the day:
First was the Photo exhibition ‘Wilderness and the wild in the Himalayas’ by Dr Ashwani Kaul from Kullu, set up at the Modern Art Exhibition hall.
Second exhibition was painting exhibition by young artist from Lahul, Ranjeet Dogre. It was his first exhibition ever. The exhibition was inaugurated by renowned painter from Lahul, Sh.Sukh Dass, whose paintings were exhibited in many places around India, and in 2003 at the Roerich Trust. Ranjeet Dogre considers Sh.Sukh Dass his Guru in painting art, and that’s why he requested him to inaugurate his exhibition. Sh.Sukh Dass had a short speech, praising the painting skills of a young artist, and exhorted him for further creative work. Ranjeet’s works strike with convincingness and purity, they convey feeling of the atmosphere depicted. Most of the visitors of the exhibition admired his scenes from hilly region, his native place – Lahul, which is the abode of beautiful mountains, high snowy peaks, quiet Buddhist gompas and small villages.
